By default, StorePep supports both WooCommerce as well as Magento E-commerce platforms. In this article, we will see how easy it is to set up a complete WooCommerce UPS shipping scenario using StorePep. This article will cover important aspects like automating real-time UPS shipping rates on your website, generating packages as well as official UPS shipping labels for your orders and live order tracking for your customers.
Now let’s get on with the setup process for StorePep and how you can connect it to your WooCommerce store using a one time process.
1.) Setting Up Your StorePep Account
To use StorePep for your WooCommerce store, you need to install StorePep WooCommerce Shipping Calculator – a free-of-cost plugin, on your website.
After installing and activating this plugin, visit the settings page and enter your email ID there. You require a StorePep Account in order to avail the services of StorePep. Clicking on Create StorePep Account the plugin will automatically create a StorePep account.
Also, the details like Integration ID and the Secret Key will be generated automatically.
Along with that, you will receive an account verification email.
The email will contain your username as well as a verification link. Click on that link to complete the verification process.
After verification, just create a password for your StorePep account.
Now, log in to your StorePep account and click on the link that appears on the welcome screen, to set up your store at StorePep.
2.) Setting Up Your Store At StorePep
Choose WooCommerce to begin setting up your WooCommerce store.
Now enter your store name, store URL, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. You can get the consumer key and secret from Woocommerce→Settings→Advanced→REST API→Add Key
3.) Setting Up Your Shipping Carriers
Once you have set up your WooCommerce store, you need to add shipping carriers to your store. You can choose different shipping carriers based on your shipping needs.
Let us configure UPS for your store. Click on UPS, and enter your UPS Account details.
Now click on Add to successfully add UPS. You can also add another shipping carrier by just clicking on the ‘+‘ icon in front of the Carriers menu.
4.) Setting Up Ship From Address
After setting up the shipping carriers, enter the Ship From Address in the fields shown in the image. This address will be used to calculate shipping rates and get the available shipping services for a particular shipment.
5.) Get Real-Time Shipping Rates On Your WooCommerce Store
Once you are done with setting up shipping carriers as well as the ship from address, you will be able to get real-time shipping rates on your website, as shown in the image below.
6.) Importing Your Orders At StorePep
After successfully connecting both StorePep and your WooCommerce store, you can easily import your orders to Storepep and can fulfill them without any hassle.
Visit StorePep, and import your orders by clicking on the option shown in the image below.
After clicking this option, all your processing orders will be imported to StorePep. You can view and fulfill these orders directly from StorePep. Also, you can import any new orders placed by your customers at any point in time.
7.) Generating Packages & Shipping Labels For Your Orders
Once you have your orders at StorePep, you can create shipping labels for them directly from StorePep. All you need to do is click on Processing tab and select your orders for which you want to generate shipping labels. StorePep is capable of generating shipping labels for all the selected orders at once. Click on Create Label for Selected, to get the shipping labels for all selected orders.
Once you generate the shipping label, your orders will no longer be in processing. You can get the shipping label for that order by clicking on the Label Created tab.
You can print your shipping label directly from StorePep by clicking on the printer icon.
It will generate the shipping label and launch the printer to print it. All that with just a single click.
8.) Request Pickups and Generate Manifests
StorePep allows you to even request for Pickups and generate Manifests for your orders. All you need to do is click on Request Pickup option.
After requesting a pickup, you will get a message displaying,”Pickup Request Successful“. Now you can close these orders and generate manifests by clicking on Close & Generate Manifest.
Once the manifest is generated, you can access the manifest by clicking on the Manifest tab. StorePep will mark the order as Completed, automatically.
9.) Order Updated at your WooCommerce store
Once you generate the shipping labels, request the pickup, and generate the manifest, StorePep automatically marks your orders as Complete.
This triggers the Order Completion Email and the customers get the tracking details attached to the mail.
You can clearly see the details like the tracking ID of the package, shipping carrier as well as the date of shipping in the Order Completion Email.
10.) Live Tracking For Your Customers
StorePep provides live tracking for your customers and makes sure that they receive real-time updates of their orders.
It sends tracking details to your customers via email as soon as the delivery status is updated.
